Yes, Medicare covers Hospice benefits. Eligible Medicare Hospice benefits including doctor and nurse services, equipment, supplies, drugs to control pain or other symptoms, hospice aide and homemaker services, physical and occupational therapy, and social worker services.
Medicare also covers dietary counseling, grief and loss counseling for you and your family. The patient is not billed for these services, and there is no deductible or co-payment
**However Summit View Hospice provides in home hospice care for citizens of Northern Nevada, regardless of their ability to pay.
